Augmented Reality Experience Integrated into a Newsletter
Fresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company specialized in clinical nutrition and patient care therapies, and was looking for a distinctive, innovative way to launch a campaign aimed at healthcare professionals—breaking away from the traditional email marketing format. The goal was to turn a standard newsletter into a memorable experience, capable of capturing attention from the very first moment and driving real interaction with the launch content. The solution needed to be simple for the user, accessible from any mobile device, and compelling enough to stand out in an increasingly crowded digital communications environment.Fresenius Kabi & Pixel Medical Animation
To address this challenge, Fresenius Kabi / MicrobioGentleman partnered with Pixel Medical Animation to develop a web-based Augmented Reality experience, seamlessly integrated into a newsletter via QR code. The email becomes a gateway to an interactive AR experience, where two animated medical characters appear in the user’s real environment—such as on their desk—and engage in a short dialogue to introduce the product launch.
